What it says

We summarize in our own words and never reproduce the text. For anything you act on, read the original.

WHO's Rehabilitation Competency Framework describes the shared values, competencies, behaviors, knowledge and skills that rehabilitation practice requires, written so that any rehabilitation profession or specialty, in any setting, can adopt and adapt it.

WHO developed it because many countries lack enough rehabilitation workers, and competency frameworks underpin education, training, regulatory standards and performance appraisal. It comes with two guides: one for adapting the framework to a local context and one for building a program and curriculum from it.
